Operating under the DG TAXUD Customs Programme
EUCAB complies with the Customs programme’ objective to support the Customs Union and to ensure that Member States’ customs authorities work together and act as one.
The activities of the expert team are aligned with other objectives of the Customs Programme, such as:
- protecting the financial and economic interests of the Union and its Member States.
- ensuring security and safety within the Union.
- safeguarding the Union from unfair and illegal trade, while facilitating legitimate business activity.
